Euler's Number as a Limit

At first I tried the brute-force method to see if I could find a pattern behind this formula when n increases linearly:

Many pages later...

I simplified the formula by substituting i with 1 and (1/n) with y. Then I was able to see how the coefficients changed as n increased linearly (blue box below). As n approaches infinity, terms including n became infinitesimally small, leaving only 1/n!.
