Blue Lagoon was on my itinerary, but things did not proceed as I had planned. I slept poorly the night before and missed the morning ferry. Next ferry did not depart the island until noon. Making matters worse, Blue Lagoon was fully booked until 7:00pm that evening, which meant I would not arrive at the hostel until midnight. Hence, I had to skip the blue paradise (photo is from my previous visit to Iceland) and head directly to Reykjavik. On the way, I serendipitously came across the Lava Tunnel. The admission was only $6, but later I found out it was $60. D'oh!
