Two books* later, I arrived in Reykjavik next morning at 8:20am. A cold, salty Icelandic breeze welcomed me. Unlike my previous visit, I decided to rent a car and visit multiple cities in the southern region of the island. But first things first, I searched for local Icelandic restaurants. I was famished, as I purposefully abstained from eating airline food for twelve hours. I wanted my limited daily caloric intake to come from local cuisines alone. The very first meal I had in Iceland was a buffet in Keflavik. The food was ordinary, but it was genuinely Icelandic. I liked it. After consuming a satisfying meal, I visited the gentle Giantess in the cave nearby. Soon I found out I was NOT gastrointestinally prepared for eating so much salmon.
